  What’s up on Main St.

There’s no do doubt that the Main St. corridor, or SoHo as some are calling this part of town, continues to be hot. Centrally located and with a great variety of retail shops, restaurants and cafes this neighbourhood is high on the list for many people who want to live in the city, be close to work and have amenities within walking distance. With real estate prices on the West Side being unaffordable for most , Main St. has become the place to be! Well kept properties that are priced right seldom stay on the market for too long in this part of town.

Kensington Cedar Cottage - taking on a new look

As the city’s East/West divide keeps shifting eastward, Kensington Cedar Cottage is quickly becoming a popular neighbourhood for young families to purchase a detached house. This area is loosely defined as lying between Broadway to 41st and from Fraser to Nanaimo. A recent article in Vancouver magazine refers to it as being the next hot neighbourhood. A mature residential area with many charming character houses, lots of parks for kids to play in and close to schools. This is a great neighbourhood to be in!
